Annabelle & Pascal

Litchfield / Connecticut

This was my first wedding that i did in the US...and what a wedding it was! If you had to describe a dream wedding, this would have been it. Everything...the atmosphere, the vibes, the people., locations...it was mesmerizing, and we still talk about these wonderful days ! Thank you for having me as your photographer. And the story behind this wedding is so good that I will tell it further down this site .

So...I was booked for a wedding in Firenze/Italy. I had worked for Panasonic at the IFA fair in Berlin the whole week before, doing live-shoots on stage from 9-6, and took an early bird flight from Berlin to Milan the day after my last day at Panasonic. I arrived completely tired and exhausted, took the train to Firenze and arrived with temperatures around 38 degrees and extreme humidity. When I checked in at the hotel that was reserved for the wedding an american girl stood with my at the reception. So when the receptionist asked "are the two of you travelling toigether?" she scanned me head to toe and then replied "no way". In the end, we became friends, and when the wedding in Italy was over she asked me "would you actually be the photographer at my sister´s wedding next year?". - You see....sometimes, things go into the right direction even after an awkward start ;-)

I love decorations...and I love to take my time taking photos of the wedding venue...table deco...flowers...so much time is spent on making everything as beautiful as possible...so that´s why I think it deserves special attention.
